Google has come up with 6 new features for Android users. These features will further increase the effectiveness of the Android operating system. At the same time users will get a different experience.
According to technology media The Verge, Google has added an encryption feature to the ‘Messages’ app of the Android operating system. The beta version was released last November. This feature has been introduced for all users who have access to RCS (Rich Communication Service).
If the messages are under the message encryption feature of the app, there will be a ‘lock’ icon on the send button. This feature will only work in conversations between two users. Google has stated that the encryption feature will not be effective in any group chat. Message encryption means that no one but the sender and recipient can enter their message. Even Google will not be able to see these messages.
Android Earthquake Warning Google has extended Android Earthquake Warning to several more countries. From now on users in Turkey, Philippines, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will get this facility. This feature will work to detect earthquakes and warn users in earthquake areas. The quake warning feature was initially unveiled in California. The feature was later launched in Greece and New Zealand in April.
The message often contains some important information that will be useful later. Google has added a ‘starred message’ feature to make this important information easier to find. If an important message arrives with a ‘Star’ as soon as it arrives, it will be stored in a separate place. As a result, you don’t have to bother to find this message. Google says that in a few weeks, all users of the ‘Messages’ app will get the feature.Literally, billions of people have Android smartphones.
